Job summary

Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions, invites you to join a 12-week Technical Sales Internship. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers, learning how systems, controls, parts, and services integrate in commercial buildings.

Actively enrolled in an Engineering degree, you’ll gain hands-on experience across North America. Some roles may be remote or onsite, with travel under 15% and a pathway to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering for the entire summer internship period.
• Candidates must have completed at least their sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields and engineering solutions.
• Posting covers multiple opportunities; some roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and no major violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with senior account managers.
• Be hands-on in steps of the sales process during the internship.
• Develop ownership and communication skills in solution-making with customers.
