Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers to learn the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.

We seek students actively enrolled in Engineering programs, ready to engage in hands-on sales experiences, with opportunities to advance into our Graduate Training Program after graduation. On-site work and travel expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrates passion for continuous learning in technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Develop ownership and contribute to solution-making processes.
