Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a hands-on summer internship in Technical Sales across North America, focusing on learning the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.

You will work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers, attend meetings, and gain practical experience through a 12-week program that develops technical, business, leadership, and communication skills, with potential path to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, Engineering; sophomores eligible.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields; strong communication skills.
• Some positions may be remote while others may be hybrid or onsite.

Responsibilities

• Learn about our sales process and how systems are designed and sold.
• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Gain exposure to the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job.
