Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, with exposure to sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills. You’ll work with our Sales Account Managers and gain insight into the design and sale of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings.

Open to actively enrolled undergraduates or grads across North America, with on-site, hybrid, or remote positions as offered. US work authorization and a passion for continuous learning are required.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred study areas include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the right to work in the U.S.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as daily contact for ownership and problem-solving.
