Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is offering a 12-week Summer internship program focused on Technical Sales, designed to challenge and develop your technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills – providing insight into a sales career with Trane Technologies. Gain exposure to HVAC equipment and building management controls.

You will work with industry-leading Sales Account Managers, learn how systems are designed and sold, attend meetings, and gain hands-on

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full duration of the internship.
• Preferred majors include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or Engineering.
• Sophomore year completion required before start date; eligible for internship positions.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong interest in technical fields and engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers directly.
• Learn design, application and sale of systems, controls and services for commercial buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as daily point-of-contact.
