Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer Internship designed to expose you to technical sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers, gaining insight into the design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services.

The program develops leadership and communication skills and may lead to our Graduate Training Program after graduation. Ideal for students in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree for the entire duration of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passion for learning in technical fields and ability to communicate engineering solutions.
• Some positions may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Learn steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build strong relationships with customers as daily points of contact.
