Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers to understand system design, application, and the sale of HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial buildings.

The program develops leadership, communication, and engineering skills, with opportunities to join a Graduate Training Program after graduation. Some roles may be remote while others may be hybrid or on-site.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred fields include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Sophomore status or higher before start date; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, functions, calls and customer meetings with mentors.
• Be hands-on in the sales engineering steps from start to finish.
• Develop relationships with customers as a daily contact to facilitate solution development.
