Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America, collaborating with Sales Account Managers and gaining exposure to HVAC systems, building controls, and service offerings.

The program develops technical, business, and communication skills with potential progression to the Graduate Training Program after graduation; roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at North American facilities.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work on-site, hybrid, or remote across North America.
• Valid driver’s license for 12 months with insurable status.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Learn design, application and sale of HVAC systems for commercial buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with experienced managers.
• Be hands-on in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish.
• Develop relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact.
