Job summary

Trane Technologies invites applications for a Technical Sales Summer Internship. This 12-week program develops your technical, business, and communication skills while exploring a sales career with Trane Technologies.

You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems for commercial buildings, and gain exposure to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for entire internship.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Interest in continuous learning in technical fields (IT, IS, Engineering).
• Posting may include remote, hybrid or onsite assignments at facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with mentors.
• Observe the steps Sales Engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as daily point-of-contact in solution making.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ongoing)

Eligible for internship in Information Technology / Information Systems / Engineering
