Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, designed to develop your technical, business, and communication skills. You will work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand design, application, and sale of HVAC systems and controls.

The program targets students in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering who are actively enrolled for the full duration and able to work on-site in North America.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship.
• Preferred fields include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering.
• Open to candidates who have completed at least their sophomore year before start.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer meetings with mentors.
• Assist in hands-on steps of the sales engineering process and build ownership in solutions.
