Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a hands-on Summer Technical Sales Internship designed to develop your technical, business, and communication skills over 12 weeks. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn how HVAC solutions are designed, applied, and sold across North America.

The program exposes you to the full range of Trane Technologies businesses, with opportunities to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation and pursue a career in Technical Sales.

Qualifications

• This internship requires active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Us citizen or legal right to work in the United States.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical or business fields.
• Some roles may be remote; others are hybrid or onsite across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems and building controls.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Observe sales engineer steps from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a daily point of contact.
