Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You must be actively enrolled in an engineering degree and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

You will work with Sales Account Managers to understand design and sale of HVAC systems, attend meetings, and gain hands-on experience toward our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Posting is for multiple opportunities; some positions may be remote, hybrid or onsite.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and have proof of insurance; no major violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, calls and customer meetings with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a daily point of contact.
