Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a hands-on 12-week Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work closely with Sales Account Managers, learn system design and the sales cycle, and gain practical exposure to commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC solutions.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in IT, engineering, or related fields and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship.
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Passion for continuous learning in technical fields; ability to communicate engineering solutions.
Posting covers multiple opportunities; some roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.
Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
Understand design, application, sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial buildings.
Attend sales meetings and field activities with mentors and experienced account managers.
Learn sales engineering steps from start to finish; be hands-on during the internship.
Engage with customers to build ownership of solution design and delivery.
