Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join a 12-week Summer internship program focused on Technical Sales. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn about systems, controls, and services for commercial and industrial buildings, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment across North America.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with a passion for learning in technical fields, and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship.
• Preferred fields include Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship or work authorization without sponsorship is required.
• Posting covers multiple opportunities, some remote or hybrid/onsite across North America.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance proof required with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts and services for commercial/industrial buildings.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Observe sales-engineering steps from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact in solution making.
