Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated engineering students to join a 12-week Summer internship to explore a career in Technical Sales across North America. You’ll collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn system design, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The program develops technical, business, sales, leadership, and communication skills while exposing you to HVAC equipment, building automation, and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• Sophomore year completed before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to learn in technical sales and energy solutions.
• Posting may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at facilities across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for 12 months with suitable insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Learn steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job.
