Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer Internship in Technical Sales aimed at developing your technical, business, and communication skills. You will interact with Sales Account Managers and customers across North America, gaining insight into HVAC system design, applications, and services.

You will learn the end-to-end sales process, attend meetings, and explore career paths through the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled for the full internship duration.
• U.S. citizen or have the right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Open to nationwide North America internship opportunities including remote/onsite/hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn the sales process.
• Learn the design, application and sale of HVAC systems and services for commercial, industrial buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in business functions and customer visits.
• Understand sales engineers’ steps from start to finish with hands-on involvement.
• Build relationships with customers and act as a daily point of contact to support solution-making.
