Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12‑week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work directly with Sales Account Managers and gain exposure to design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services, building practical skills in a real-world setting.

You must be enrolled in an Engineering degree, have completed at least your sophomore year, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Some roles may be onsite with a hybrid option.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before start.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with Industry-leading Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend meetings and participate in sales functions alongside mentors.
• Learn the sales engineer process from start to finish through hands‑on activities.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact.
