Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join its 12-week Summer internship program in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, and services for commercial and industrial buildings.

You will attend meetings and engage in hands-on steps of the sales process, building valuable relationships and preparing for a potential Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree enrollment required for the entire internship period

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Account Managers and customers to understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services in commercial, industrial and institutional buildings
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, service calls and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors
• Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps during the internship
• Gain appreciation for relationships with customers and act as a daily point-of-contact in the solution-making process
