Job summary

Johnson Controls is launching the Early Career Sales Engineering BEST Program in Texas for new engineering graduates. The 6-month development track combines classroom training and hands-on customer interactions to build the technical and relationship skills needed for a career in technical sales.

Participants will be mentored across a nationwide sales network, with exposure to HVAC solutions, building performance, and sustainability projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an anticipated graduation date December 2026 or May/June 2027
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program
• Learn Johnson Controls’ HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions
• Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities
• Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners
• Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability
• Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
