Job summary
Johnson Controls, Inc. is launching the Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program in Houston, a 6-month training program for recent engineering graduates to start a technical sales career.
Participants will be paired with a mentor and learn via classroom and hands-on customer interactions to build technical acumen and relationship skills. The program offers structured development, exposure to HVAC equipment and building solutions, and opportunities to advance within sales and engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with anticipated graduation date Dec 2026 or May/June 2027.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program
- Learn Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions
- Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners
- Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability
- Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
