Job summary

Johnson Controls is launching the Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program, a 6-month development track designed for recent engineering grads to start a career in technical sales. You’ll be paired with a mentor and gain exposure to sales teams nationwide, learning HVAC solutions and building systems.

During the program you’ll support proposals, develop technical expertise, and build relationships with contractors, architects, and engineers to drive sustainable outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program.
• Learn Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions.
• Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities.
• Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners.
• Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability.
• Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
