ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales of fasteners to manufacturers, construction, solar, and related industries. You will grow local opportunities from our Houston Distribution Center and expand nationwide as needed.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of fasteners, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to close complex sales with customers across multiple industries.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in industrial fasteners.
• Experience selling to manufacturing, construction and solar industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of fastener specs, materials, and applications.
• Proven negotiation and closing skills across complex sales cycles.
• Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho).

Aufgaben

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, focusing on local Houston and Texas markets.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with customers as the primary technical and sales contact.
• Conduct needs assessments and recommend tailored fastener solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on fastener types, materials, and applications.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable deals.
• Oversee end-to-end order management and resolve fulfillment issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate with ops and procurement for inventory planning.
• Maintain proactive communication for excellent customer satisfaction.
