MDS Staffing in Houston seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Specialist to drive aggressive sales of industrial fasteners, including bolts, screws, nuts, anchors, rivets, and custom solutions.

You will focus on growing local opportunities from our Houston Distribution Center while expanding into Texas and across the U.S. through consultative selling, strong relationships, and technical product expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B sales experience in industrial fasteners.
• Proven ability to sell into manufacturing, construction, and solar sectors.
• Strong technical understanding of fasteners, materials, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pursue new business opportunities in target industries.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients as primary contact.
• Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored fastener solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for profitable deals.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle from inquiry to post-delivery support.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities.
