Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a high-energy Sales Engineer for Fusion Electronics to own the technical sales cycle from discovery to close. You will map customers’ ECAD/MCAD workflows to Fusion, design compelling demos, and lead evaluations, pilots, and migrations.

You will recruit and enable channel partners, build credible plans, and drive cross-sell across the Fusion platform. You will engage engineers, product teams, and executives, translating complex electronics workflows into clear value

Qualifications

• Experience in PCBA electronics design and layout workflows.
• Direct experience in technical sales such as presales or sales engineering.
• Ability to map customer ECAD/MCAD processes to Fusion.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills for technical, business, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales cycle end to end: discovery, requirements validation, solution design, proof of value, objection handling, and technical close.
• Run deep discovery into customers' current ECAD/MCAD tools and handoffs and map a future state on Fusion.
• Scope and deliver precise demos and proof points across the full electronics workflow.
• Lead evaluations, pilots, and migration assessments including moving competitor designs into Fusion.
• Address technical objections with authority across interoperability and data formats.
• Build trust as an advisor to engineers and executives while aligning across teams.
• Generate and grow pipeline with channel partners and ecosystem players and own a territory plan.
• Expand market through evangelism and cross-sell into the Fusion platform.
