Autodesk’s Fusion Electronics team seeks a Fusion Technical Sales Specialist for Electronics to own the technical strategy behind electronics design opportunities and drive the business-development engine that fuels them.

This is a builder’s role where you won’t wait for demos; you’ll help build the territory, develop the partner ecosystem, shape the narrative, and turn interest into committed deals. Autodesk values curiosity and rapid innovation.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in electronics design from schematic capture to fabrication and assembly.
• Understanding ECAD-MCAD co-design and enclosure validation.
• Experience in presales, solution consulting, or sales engineering with strong discovery skills.
• Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills for technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Experience recruiting and enabling channel partners and resellers.
• High energy and startup-speed mindset in a global company.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales cycle end to end: discovery, requirements validation, solution design, proof of value, objection handling, and technical close.
• Map current tools and ECAD-MCAD handoffs to a future state on Fusion.
• Deliver demos and proof points across the electronics workflow: schematic capture, PCB layout, library management, design-rule checks, simulation, co-design, and path to manufacturing.
• Lead evaluations, pilots, and migration assessments including transfer of competitor designs and standards to Fusion.
• Address objections with authority on board complexity, file formats, interoperability, and PLM integration.
• Build trust as an advisor to engineers and executives, aligning sales, partners, product, and engineering.
• Grow pipeline through direct and partner motions: recruit, enable, and co-sell with channel partners and ecosystem players.
• Expand the market via evangelism and marketing and cross-sell into broader Fusion platform.
