Job summary

Acara Solutions, an Aleron Company, is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to support Plattsburgh-area clients. This remote role requires local proximity for onsite visits and regular collaboration with hiring managers.

You will manage recruiting for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions, deliver exceptional customer service, and build lasting relationships while developing your recruiting skills within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience recruiting for technical and advanced manufacturing.
• Proficient computer skills, with MS Office Suite experience.
• Candidates must be local to Plattsburgh, NY for onsite visits.

Responsibilities

• Receive and vet job orders, securing approval to source, screen, interview, and present candidates to clients.
• Exercise independent judgment and strong interviewing skills to match candidates with placements.
• Maintain performance benchmarks, recruitment metrics, community networking, and candidate placement follow-up.
• Act as a liaison between Acara, clients, candidates, and contract employees, upholding professionalism and integrity.
• Provide administrative oversight for contract employees and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Cultivate community relations through active engagement and community activities.
• Retain a pool of temporary/contract employees to meet client demands.
• Collaborate closely with fellow Recruitment Specialists to address client needs effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to address and resolve escalated personnel matters.
• Uphold high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times.
