Pay: $24 - $27/hour

Location: Onsite in Plattsburgh, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Type: Temp to hire

Purpose of the job:

As an HR Assistant, you will support the Plattsburgh manufacturing site to shape and deploy business goals as defined by management. Responsibilities include implementing HR policies, providing counsel to employees and management, addressing HR and employee relations issues, promoting diversity and inclusion, and providing HR metrics for decision-making.

This position requires onsite presence five days a week.

• Manage recruitment activities, support onboarding, documentation, background checks, and drug screens.
• Perform internal HR processes, support time and attendance activities.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and positive relations.
• Leverage best practices, share knowledge, and customize tools and programs.
• Partner with HRBP to ensure legal compliance with employment laws like FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA.
• Administer employee data, maintain data integrity and employee files.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.
