Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant technical recruiting.
• Proven success hiring Software Engineers and other highly technical roles in competitive talent markets.
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to build pipelines without relying on inbound candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and close highly sought-after technical candidates.
• Strong partnership skills with Engineering leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and candidate management skills.
• Highly organized, data-driven, and able to manage multiple searches.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with changing priorities.
• Builder mindset and drive to improve recruiting processes continuously.
• Willingness to work from our Palo Alto, CA office Tue-Thu.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Engineering leadership to develop and execute hiring plans across Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data, Infrastructure, and other technical functions.
• Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial engagement through interview management, offer negotiation, and close.
• Develop creative and targeted sourcing strategies to identify exceptional technical talent in competitive markets.
• Build and maintain strong pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and future organizational growth.
• Develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and serve as a talent advisor throughout the hiring process.
• Partner with interview teams to continuously improve technical recruiting processes, calibration, candidate assessment, and candidate experience.
• Use recruiting data and market intelligence to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion, and inform hiring decisions.
• Build compelling candidate experiences that differentiate Birdeye in a competitive tech market.
• Collaborate with the broader Talent team to share best practices and raise hiring quality.
• Operate with urgency and high ownership while maintaining a high bar for candidate quality.
