Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL seeks a Technical Project Manager to plan and coordinate multi‑team technology initiatives within Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital. You will manage schedules, scope and risks while aligning with leaders and partners across Product, Design, Technology, and Vendors.

You will drive agile ceremonies, forecasts, dashboards, and governance, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and successful closure with lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical project/program management with engineering teams
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Info Systems/Software/EE or equivalent
• Understanding of Cloud, APIs, databases, SDLC, and product development
• Strong influence, negotiation, communication and relationship-building
• Experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall and blended approaches
• Working knowledge of Agile technical practices, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD
• Experience applying PM practices across multiple methodologies
• Experience with AI technologies, nomenclature and strategies
• Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects
• Experience with project budgets

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of projects within a program
• Work with engineering teams and leadership to follow established processes
• Facilitate Agile project management ceremonies
• Maintain monthly forecasts and resource allocations
• Conduct regular project status meetings with partners
• Build project reports and dashboards for sponsors and partners
• Monitor project plans and respond to changes
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and resolve blockers
• Escalate issues for timely resolution and mitigation
• Ensure proper project closure and lessons learned
• Assist Jira and Confluence administration and reporting
• Support roadmap planning and infrastructure migration coordination
• Guide cross-functional teams across Scrum and vendors
• Support Jira Cloud migration readiness
