Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate tech initiatives across multiple teams. You will drive project plans, ensure alignment with business strategy, and manage schedules, budgets, risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

We deliver experiences to consumers through our Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives such as Hey, Disney! As a Technical Project Manager you will support the planning and coordination of projects within a program, helping manage interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. You will also apply project management principles and techniques to support project schedule, scope, quality, cost and performance risks. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-discipline technology teams, leadership and business partners to understand technical and business direction, milestones and budget. The Technical Project Manager will report to the Manager, Technical Project Management. This role supports the Commerce portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Supports execution and delivery of technical projects through the delivery life cycle, helping ensure projects are delivered timely and on-budget.
• Works with engineering teams, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership to follow established processes across assigned project areas that support success on prioritized projects and improve efficiency.
• Facilitates Agile project management ceremonies and processes for project teams.
• Maintain monthly forecast submissions, including adjustments to resource allocations, vendor payment schedules, and forecasts for partner teams.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with partners, ensuring needs and requirements are met.
• Build project reports and dashboards for project management, sponsors, and partners.
• Monitors project plan and supports adjustments to respond to unplanned changes, helping ensure the project is progressing to meet team goals.
• Act as a liaison among multiple teams, including Product Management, Design, Technology, vendors, and other key functional delivery teams.
• Support project delivery by coordinating cross-functional dependencies, helping resolve blockers, and managing RAID to help ensure milestones stay on track.
• Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation.
• Ensure proper project closure including lessons learned, transition and hand-off to production operations support, and final financial reporting.
• Support Jira and Confluence administration and reporting, helping ensure consistent Agile processes, traceability, and delivery visibility.
• Support roadmap planning, dependency mapping, and infrastructure migration coordination using Advanced Roadmaps and aligned tracking artifacts.
• Support cross-functional teams through informal guidance and program-level coordination across Scrum teams and vendors.
• Support Jira Cloud migration readiness, including cleanup, process alignment, and adoption support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Must have minimum of 3 years of technical project/program management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development.
• Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping.
• Must have hands‑on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall, with growing experience blending styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
• Must have working understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
• Experience applying project management practices including Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall.
• Must have experience and knowledge of AI emerging technologies, nomenclature and strategies.
• Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of a project.
• Experience supporting project budgets.
• Must have experience with tools such as: Microsoft suite, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM (Clarity), MyJira, Tableau, Claude, and PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience supporting software development programs.

Compensation & Benefits

• The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $101,800 - $136,500.
• A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
