This role bridges engineering, manufacturing operations, and program management to ensure products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with customer and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 8-10 years of total work experience in a technical or engineering field.
• 2-5 years of experience in product development, program management, or manufacturing engineering in modular/prefabricated products.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to bridge technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle: concept, design validation, prototyping, testing, and production launch.
• Understand and apply DFMA/DFx principles to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and efficiency of new products.
• Collaborate to refine and optimize product designs for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
• Direct prototype builds, conduct first-article inspections, and iterate design based on test feedback.
• Partner with modeling/detailing teams to refine 3D models, drawings, and shop packages.
