Job summary

McKinstry, based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations for its Offsite Manufacturing division. You will lead all day-to-day operations of assigned value streams, ensuring safe, efficient production of modular products that meet schedules and customer requirements.

You will drive lean initiatives, build a strong team, and partner across Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Excellence, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver predictable, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing or plant operations leadership.
• 3+ years managing a production facility.
• Experience with lean, QMS ISO-9001 IAFT16949, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, VSM.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned locations and value streams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Set operational direction and drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
• Own schedules, budgeting, labor planning, and variance analysis to protect and improve margins.
• Build and coach a high-performing manufacturing team with staffing and succession plans.
