Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA seeks a Construction Project Manager for the Offsite Manufacturing team to own end-to-end performance of a modular product value stream. You will oversee plans, scopes, materials, production, and client alignment to deliver cost, quality, schedule, and contractual outcomes across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in construction management or engineering and 6+ years in PM/engineering/construction, with OSHA 30, scheduling software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent professional experience required.
• 6 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction preferred.
• Experience with General Contractors or major mechanical subcontractors preferred.
• Experience in modular, prefabricated, or offsite manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Proficient with project scheduling software preferred.
• Completed OSHA 30 class is required.
• Basic estimating skills preferred.
• Understanding of accounting and financial management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of project management and engineering activities from design through construction.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, submittals, schedules, scopes of work, and execution strategies for manufactured projects.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as primary contact for client relationships, driving alignment and satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage client and subcontractor change orders.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cost, margin, and forecasts.
• Coordinate among trades, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to support execution.
• Coach, mentor, and provide direction to project team members.
