Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Technical Product Manager (Integrated Solutions) to drive system-level requirements, enable turnkey deployments, and own performance specs across the PRISM, NEXUS, and AIRS portfolios. The role focuses on integrating RF networks, sensing, and radios into mission-ready packages for defense and public safety applications.

The position is located in Irvine, CA, on a hybrid schedule with potential for 100% remote work based on US location, and requires up to 25–50% travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or wireless communications.
• Strong working knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networking, or electromagnetic spectrum operations.
• Ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into structured technical requirements.
• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams to meet release dates.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware configurations.
• Define end-to-end performance specifications and system-level trade-offs for integrated solutions (PRISM, NEXUS, AIRS).
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering to leverage radios and modules into turnkey systems.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for integrated solutions.
