Job summary
Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Technical Product Manager to translate defense requirements into hardware configurations, software specs, and user experiences. You will own NPI cycles for FASST and LSNRS products, drive Agile backlogs, and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize edge-node transceivers for field deployments.
The role reports to Product Management and is hybrid in Irvine, CA, with remote-work flexibility for US candidates and up to 25%
Qualifications
- Translate high-level EW mission capabilities into granular software user stories and hardware configurations.
- Drive NPI cycles and validate end-to-end user experience for FASST Handheld and LSNRS portfolios.
- Own and define transceiver operation for edge node deployments and tactical applications.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to align backlogs with product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex defense requirements into hardware configurations, software specs and operator experiences.
- Drive hardware NPI and lifecycle for Silvus EW/Sensing products from concept to deployment.
- Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for EW-related software features and firmware.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and sales to align feature priorities with field needs.
- Travel up to 25% for field testing, integrations, and customer meetings.
