Job summary
Performance Team in the United States is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic for a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and facility equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with conveyors, and the ability to diagnose complex failures.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse/distribution environments.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting conveyor systems.
- Strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Experience with troubleshooting tools including multimeters.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on material handling equipment.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, sortation gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, and related components.
- Inspect equipment such as balers, air compressors, dock equipment; identify root causes.
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of conveyor systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
