Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair warehouse conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, and ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of related experience, hands-on skills with conveyors, and CMMS familiarity (SAP/Maximo/Fiix).

Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse facilities.
Working knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes, rollers, and conveyors.
Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency with hand tools and standard maintenance equipment.
Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
CMMS experience (SAP, Maximo, Fiix, or similar).
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Observe equipment operation and identify potential faults or performance issues.
Test equipment after repairs to verify safe operation.
Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and document findings.
