Job summary
Performance Team is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to keep conveyor systems and material handling equipment running in a warehouse and distribution environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors, can troubleshoot independently, and will follow OSHA and LOTO safety standards while supporting continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
- Experience working with conveyor systems.
- Knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, motors and gearboxes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Document maintenance findings and report equipment concerns to maintenance leadership.
- Support efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
