Job summary

Performance Team is hiring an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic for a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment to improve reliability and uptime.

Requirements include 4+ years in industrial maintenance and strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, VFDs, and electrical schematics. Overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling environment.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
• Strong knowledge of: Conveyors and sortation systems Motors and gearboxes Bearings, chains, belts, and rollers Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Electrical systems and VFDs.
• Experience using troubleshooting and diagnostic tools including multimeters and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders, and other components.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including balers, carton sealers, air compressors, dock equipment, and other warehouse support systems.
• Observe equipment in operation, identify root causes of mechanical failures, and implement corrective solutions.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, rebuild, or replace defective equipment and components as needed.
• Test equipment following repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
