Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems in a warehouse setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, ability to work independently or with the team, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
• Experience with conveyor systems, bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist with basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Inspect equipment and identify wear or misalignment to prevent downtime.
• Document maintenance findings and labor hours; update work orders.
• Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA/LOTO requirements.
