Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-level Desktop Support Technician to support a government site at Point Loma in San Diego. The role entails direct desk-side support, troubleshooting IT devices, and ensuring timely ticket resolution for VIP and executive customers.

Qualifications include US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, a HS diploma with 4+ years of experience, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher).

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification.
• US Citizen with DoD security clearance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in IT Enterprise Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to established SLRs.
• Work directly with VIP and executive-level customers to provide premier computer and network support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues including hardware and software-related concerns.
• Ensure customer related tasks are completed within the timeline set.
• Troubleshoot and resolve local and networked printers, devices and other hardware components.
• Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
• Have core networking knowledge to diagnose and resolve layer 1 network connection issues.
• Troubleshooting and resolving VoIP and VTC issues.
• Provide support to a 24/7 operation with overtime, weekend 12-hour shifts, and some holidays as required.
