Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales technical services teams, directing Field Engineers responsible for installations and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. The role emphasizes 24/7 operations, adherence to SLAs, and revenue-driven project delivery for public safety clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical management within public safety or NG911 environments, with strong VoIP, Windows Server, and CTI experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Prior experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team consisting of Field Engineers.
• Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site hardware and software installations, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Work closely with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors to align deployment timelines and site readiness.
• Refine support workflows, deployment checklists, and internal knowledge base documentation.
