Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales teams responsible for Exacom Hindsight 4 deployments in public safety environments. You will manage Field Engineers, ensuring on-site installations, upgrades, and SLA adherence while coordinating with project managers and client IT/directors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical management in mission-critical settings, strong VoIP/CTI expertise, and success leading remote and on-site teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Prior experience in public safety, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, or NG911 systems is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Field Engineers and a dual-function team.
• Oversee on-site hardware/software installations, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Align deployment timelines with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors.
• Ensure adherence to installation protocols, SAT, and security standards.
• Improve workflows, knowledge base, and customer relations.
