Job summary

Hartfiel Automation in Colorado is seeking a Technical Sales professional to serve Fort Collins and surrounding territory. You will act as the technical expert and trusted partner between our suppliers and manufacturing customers, driving consultative conversations and creative solutions rather than just components.

The role requires 2–4 in-person calls daily, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex product knowledge into customer value, while maintaining relentless

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and a drive to continuously learn new products and technologies are essential.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into customer value.
• Experience in consultative sales conversations.
• Relentless sales activity in a field territory.

Responsibilities

• Hit the field. Schedule 2-4 in-person customer calls daily.
• Grow the business. Expand revenue within existing accounts and pursue new customers using the Funnel process.
• Get technical. Develop deep knowledge of focus product lines and familiarize with others.
• Solve problems, don’t just sell parts. Apply critical thinking and consultative techniques.
• Collaborate to win. Lead weekly Team Funnel meetings and engage supplier resources.
• Stay sharp and organized. Update sales activity weekly and complete required training.
• Operate with integrity. Represent Hartfiel Automation's mission and values in every interaction.
