Job summary

Chelsea Search Group seeks a Technical Business Development Manager for semiconductor solutions, specializing in ASIC/FPGA. This role blends engineering know-how with business development to translate client challenges into compelling opportunities.

You will partner with engineering, product, and leadership teams to craft approaches, develop proposals, and engage customers across Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical sectors. Strong communication and design fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Systems engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the Semiconductor industry; advanced degrees may reduce experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations showing how a product meets client needs.
• Travel up to 30% for customer engagements and marketing events.
