Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an experienced Technical Business Development Manager for semiconductor solutions based in Minneapolis, MN. The role blends engineering insight with strategic sales to advance ASIC/FPGA offerings across Mil-Aero, Industrial, and Medical markets.

You will translate complex technical requirements into compelling business opportunities, develop technical and cost proposals, and collaborate with design, product, and leadership teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
• 5+ years in the semiconductor industry; advanced degrees可 reduce experience.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Close business by providing technical sales support during various stages of the sales cycle.
• Contribute to the development of the overall ASIC architecture.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Develop technical and cost proposals.
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Understand technical requirements and forecast realistic customer needs.
• Search for new clients and grow business with existing customers.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Collaborate with IC Design, Test, and Product teams during development.
