Job summary

Saint-Gobain Performance Polymer Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead aerospace sealing solutions in North America. This remote role requires up to 50% travel and reports to the Business Manager, focusing on turning technical requirements into practical business outcomes.

You will build relationships with aerospace customers, develop innovative solutions, and coordinate with engineering and pricing teams to win strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field; 8+ years experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience; aerospace experience preferred.
• Customer-centric mindset with ability to identify business needs and drive growth.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Experience reading blueprints and interfacing with engineers on technical aspects.
• Experience preparing pricing proposals and discussing pricing strategy.
• Project management and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective and existing accounts to identify seal applications; be a technical resource.
• Respond to technical service requests for quotations or project actions.
• Provide technical advice on seal materials, designs and configurations.
• Present product line and company capabilities to customers; work with engineers.
• Coordinate between our organization and customer engineering on projects.
• Interface with customers on pricing, quality and delivery; provide samples.
• Research competitive data and market opportunities.
• Negotiate agreements with strategic customers.
