Position Summary

The Technical Account Specialist (TAS) manages Diversey's businesses within their assigned territory. The TAS surveys, installs, maintains, and/or repairs chemical dispensing platforms and leased dish machines at customer sites. This individual is responsible for delivering the value proposition and meeting contracted service level agreements for primarily laundry, kitchen, and housekeeping applications. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential. The role involves using emerging electronic technology for communication, reporting, and auditing. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure customers have an outstanding experience with the Diversey cleaning and sanitation program.
  2. Establish excellent relationships at all customer organization levels (end users, supervisors, managers).
  3. Adhere to policies, procedures, and better working practices raised by the EHS department to ensure a secure environment.
  4. Install equipment following Standard Operating Procedures.
  5. Conduct routine visits, diagnose, and resolve technical problems or conditions.
  6. Train customers on safe equipment use, Safety Data Sheets, cleaning procedures, and product information.
  7. Check inventory to ensure customers have the minimum supplies needed on-site, manage purchasing orders, and ensure program compliance.
  8. Serve as the voice of the customer by recapping focus areas, following up on issues, and capturing customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage inventory levels in company vehicle and storage units.
  10. Complete administrative duties such as timesheets, follow-up on equipment/parts orders, document consumption, and review weekly visit plans with your manager.
  11. Complete paid annual training and mandatory safety training.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of field service experience (industrial equipment maintenance/mechanical problem solving) or selling cleaning solutions/equipment to Hospitality/Food Service businesses.
  • Availability to support business needs during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer skills including Email, Excel, Word.
  • Valid US Driver's License with a good driving record and ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to move objects up to 40 lbs and perform precise work in limited spaces.
  • Effective use of power tools in limited spaces.
  • Plumbing and electrical skills.
  • Professional attitude, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve company goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce (FSL).
