Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Warwick, RI to be the first point of contact for technology support at the local store. You’ll assess customer needs, provide basic services, and partner with other agents for more complex repairs.

The role involves helping customers set up new devices, advising on repair vs replacement, and keeping knowledge up to date through training. A minimum of 3 months of retail or customer service experience is required, and you must be able to work a flexible

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
