Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a part-time Technology Support Specialist Floater to assist with district-wide technology needs. You will provide front-line IT support to students, teachers, and staff, handling Windows and iOS devices, software installs, and basic repairs.

The role requires strong customer service, effective communication, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. Evening/weekend availability may be needed; ACT 168 compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication & customer service skills required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and iOS operating systems preferred.
• General knowledge of Office 365.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair software and hardware problems.
• Lift 40 pounds.
• High school diploma required, A+ Certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Support students, teachers, and staff in utilizing technology with high-level service.
• Configure Windows computers and iPads; perform basic repairs and escalate when needed.
• Run diagnostics and support Wi‑Fi and device deployments district-wide.
• Install software and maintain equipment inventory and workspace.
• Collaborate with the Network team and attend department meetings.
